WELCOME TO THE GOETHE-INSTITUT LIBRARY NAMIBIA!
The Goethe-Institut library is made up of a variety of current and relevant German and English print and audiovisual media. Our focus areas are children and youth literature, German contemporary literature – some translated in English, comics, graphic novels, art and culture, news from politics and society, Namibian collection and German as a foreign language with numerous easy readers in German with different levels of the language . The range of books and magazines is complemented by a collection of literary audio books and German feature as well as documentary films unique in Namibia. Moreover, we place a special emphasis on the area "German as a foreign language". In addition to offering a wide range of learning and teaching materials, we also offer laptop workplaces and online exercises tailored to language courses. With our eLibrary Kiosk, we offer easy access to a diverse selection of eBooks and electronic journals.
